The SE MF-2.1 is engineered to combine large-format low-frequency authority and output capability with the acoustic coherence, resolution, and dynamic stability required for professional monitoring. Its custom Strauss-developed 15-inch LIT woofer combines low mechanical loss with strong magnetic control, allowing deep bass reproduction with very little stored energy and exceptional transient precision. The 400 Hz crossover and physical time alignment between the drivers allow the 2-inch compression driver to take over above the woofer with exceptional precision through the transition region, while the 90° × 40° radiation geometry is engineered for controlled boundary interaction. Together, these elements allow the MF-2.1 to maintain image stability, tonal consistency, and full-range control in demanding control rooms and listening environments.
